Yesterday, the National Hockey League’s Central Scouting department released their mid-season rankings for the 2022 draft. For the most part, the rankings were as people expected, with a couple of surprises.
Today, I’m going to share who I have as the top thirty-two draft prospects and will be breaking them down into two categories as Central Scouting does, North American and International.
North American
- Shane Wright – Kingston Frontenacs (OHL)

The 2022 NHL Entry Draft is set for July 7th and 8th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. With junior hockey, NCAA and European leagues wrapping up their seasons in the next two-three months, I will likely update this list once more, probably at the beginning of April.
