Today’s post is going to focus on my hometown Junior club, the Barrie Colts. The modern day Colts joined the Ontario Hockey League after being granted an expansion franchise. Their first season in the OHL was the 1995-96 season, playing out of the old Dunlop Arena in downtown Barrie, until the Barrie Molson Centre opened on December 31st 1995.
Over the course of their nearly 26 year history, the Barrie Colts have had their fair share of talented players, many of which went on to National Hockey League, and professional leagues in Europe.
I wanted to come up with an all-time roster featuring who I think are the greatest players to ever wear a Barrie Colts jersey, and here it is.
